Pop & Flair is a boutique balloon design business specializing in organic balloon garlands. “We create custom designs that elevate every occasion. Whether it is a birthday, wedding, corporate gathering, or any special event, we aim to make your celebration unforgettable,” shared owner Liz Stone.
“I officially started Pop & Flair in August 2024. Early last year, a friend created a balloon garland for my niece’s college graduation. She showed me how she put it together, and I was fascinated by the process. I thought it was so beautiful. I made my first garland for my son’s high school graduation the following month and fell in love with making them. It makes me happy. I like the process. I like the colors. I like seeing how happy people are when it all comes together.”
Liz grew up in Arizona, but relocated to Central MN in 2012 to raise her family here. “This community is fantastic. They are supportive of one another and want to see each other succeed. I’ve met some incredible people here who are happy to spread the word and help my business grow. I have a great group of friends who grew up here and make it feel like home.”
“The best part of this venture is seeing how excited and happy people are when they see their finished garland. It’s rewarding and thrilling. One factor we’re continually challenged with is delivery… balloons can occupy a lot of space, so depending on the project and event, I often need to rent a large van or U-Haul. I’m saving up for a large delivery van – getting that will be an exciting day for us!”
Pop & Flair offers balloon arches, balloon walls, shimmer walls, garland and easel decor, balloon hoops, tiered standing balloons, and more. “Our ideal clients are event planners and hosts looking for that perfect backdrop — something unique, eye-catching, and designed to wow their guests.
