Spa De Tete

Spa De Tete, located in the Park Salon Suites in Waite Park, is a private, relaxing, intimate spa, designed with great detail to provide the ultimate spa experience for guests. You’ll unwind in a setting of low lights, zen music, and a cozy bed. Owners and Head Spa Specialists Rachel and Cindy use a high-resolution camera that provides in-depth insight into your hair and scalp health. “Using state-of-the-art tools gives us detailed imaging, perfect for identifying skin concerns, dead skin cell build-up, follicle blockage, and oil secretion - just to name a few. We use special massage techniques and plant-based products that are not only effective, but smell amazing.”

Rachel was born and raised in Sauk Rapids, and Cindy was born and raised in St. Cloud. “We became coworkers together, working as Independent Hair Stylists. We started Spa DeTete, a separate business at the Head Spa, to offer a new, cutting-edge service. We've both been in the beauty industry for over 20 years each, and we loved the idea of creating a space for a head spa service to give our guests a time for pure relaxation and a healthier scalp.”

Rachel and Cindy have collaborated with each other as business owners, as well as other head spas across the nation to gain knowledge and develop services that work. “We have 36 suites within our building and support other stylists in the building who have shown tremendous support for our spa by recommending our service to their guests. We feel blessed to have other professional stylists in the same building as a resource.”

In addition to Spa De Tete, Cindy owns Cindy Christen Salon, and Rachel owns Wild Roots Hair Studio. “We share a separate, private suite for Spa De Tete. There is only one guest in our space at a time, so we schedule on alternating days. The beauty industry is always changing, and we appreciate working alongside very talented people.”

We’ve been busy, but we’d love for more people in the community to be aware of the services we offer.  Talking about the benefits - and importance - of detoxifying the scalp is something we’re passionate about and proud to offer.
